Top rumor of the day: Big change for Ivy Nile
According to Fightful Select, Ivy Nile’s WWE contract is set to expire this fall.
Even though Ivy has been relegated to mostly working on WWE’s C-show Main Event this year, it sounds like WWE has a “big change” planned for her if she does indeed re-sign with the company. That comes from sources in WWE Creative, who also claim that these plans for Nile have been under development “for quite a while.”
If it’s true that WWE has recently been discussing creative plans for Ivy Nile, there’s reason to be optimistic about the two sides working out a deal for her to remain with the promotion. Then again, all it takes is an insulting 50% pay cut offer for any negotiation to go south.

- Don’t get your hopes up about the return of UpUpDownDown now that The New Level and Austin Creed (fka Xavier Woods) are in AEW. That’s because former WWE star Tyler Breeze confirmed on X that WWE owns that intellectual property.
- There is a lot of speculation that WWE superstar Stephanie Vaquer and NXT wrestler Myles Borne may have broken up after they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted various comments and pictures of themselves together.
- For whatever it’s worth, Andrade told Luchando Por Tus Sueños that he’s currently making more money in AEW than he was being paid in WWE.
- After Nick Hogan recently told TV Insider that his relationship with his sister Brooke is “in a really good place” right now, Hulk’s daughter clarified to Us Weekly that she and Nick are “not in communication, and his characterization of our relationship does not reflect my experience.”
- During an interview with 12 News, Jake “The Snake” Roberts said Andre the Giant once got him down in the corner of the ring and laughed while he “sat on me and farted for a good 30, 40 seconds. It was the most amazingly long fart in all mankind. I didn’t think it was ever gonna stop…It was horrible.”
