Teenage boy injured after assault in York alleyway

A teenage boy has been left injured after being assaulted by another teenager in a York alleyway, police said.

Officers are appealing for information about the incident in Tang Hall at about 8.55pm on Tuesday (September 1).

North Yorkshire Police said a teenage boy assaulted another teenage boy in the alleyway between Constantine Avenue and Hewley Avenue “causing injuries”.

The force urged anyone with information about the assault to email lily.ashworth1@northyorkshire.police.uk or phone 101.
